I feel your tiny fists
Tiny Legs moving

It is the last trimester
I will almost finally
Meet you my little angel
I will finally see you
I cant wait
To hear the sound of your cry
And laughter later, then your first words
when I say, Hello Baby
And you answer back!! 

THE WONDER OF CREATION

I feel Life
On the inside
It grows and grows everyday
It is the wonder of creation

I hear it moving
Moving and breathing
I feel when its hungry
And when its uncormfotable
It lets me know
And none too gently
It is the wonder of creation

I hear its heartbeat
It beats and beats all the time
We are connected
Because we feed, move sleep and do everything together
We also do the most important thing of all
We love
That is the wonder of creation.

I AM AT PEACE

August here you are
The last of my first trimester
How I already feel tired
How the hunger pangs drive me crazy
How the mornings are endless

I have grown some
Both physically, emotionally and in maturity
I understand my woman nature better
I understand my fellow women better
The real women, not the brats

I consider my self blessed
I have been singled out
To bring forth, a blessing
I love my life
I have graciously accepted
I am at peace, as I await.

I HAVE THE GIFT

I have a gift
I love the gift
Maintaining the gift is a bit tricky
Requires effort
That is the beauty of the gift

Sometimes I wonder
Do I really deserve the gift
Am I worthy of the gift?
After all I have said and done
I still get to keep this special gift
God indeed is a God of several chances

I can't wait to finally appraise my gift
When it has thrived and looks strong
Thank you God
For giving me the gift



 

JUNE OH JUNE!

A great month you are
But with you comes the chill
The chill in my bones.
Young as they are, they feel the cold biting
I wonder how June will still be when am old and rickety

Reside I do in the land of the sun
But oh June!
You drive away the sun.
The feel in my bones
Which is cold cold cold
Tells me when June comes.


June Oh June!
I love the sun'
Don't make my days gloomy
With grey clouds 
I love my days full of warm sunshine

I love to sit and bask in the beauty of the sunlight
Sunlight brings hope,
But June Oh June
The cold brings misery

I HAVE THRIVED

The Month of April
Great it has been
Days of singing and weeping I have had
Nights of soundness and restlessness I have had
Moments of surety and doubt I have had
But I have thrived all the same
I have surpassed, I have thrived

The Lord has been watching
My every step
He has smiled,
He has frowned,
He has comforted
And He has admonished
 I  love Him
He is my father and He thinks I have thrived

I have gone further journey-wise
More than ever
Experienced new haunts
New cultures and climates
I have Thrived
I intend to thrive forever

I CAN WALK TALL

The first trimester is coming to an end
The new beginnings I had established
They are going strong
I feel proud
I can walk tall

I relate well with everyone
I have grown some
Like a novice cow girl, who finally learnt to bridle a horse
I feel proud
I can walk tall
